Houston SPCA Zombie Walk
The Houston Zombie Walk is exactly what it sounds like. We are a facilitator group hosting an annual walk for The Houston SPCA and the Texas Wildlife Center this fall to break open the Halloween season! The walk itself is structured the same as any walk/run for charity, as you may have participated in the Komen Race for the Cure", or the Texas Med Center 5k, or any number of others in any major city. This happens to be themed, and it's one heck of a party! This year, the Zombie Walk will be on September 24, the last weekend before October, and will be around 1.5 miles to 2 miles in length.

A Fundraiser for Jessica
Imagine if it were you: Most children want a dog - your child NEEDS one. Most parents can get them one, but you can’t!. We can all help Jessica get the companion she needs by donating or attending this fundraiser
Jessica is a brave little girl who was born with Down syndrome and heart defects that left her weakened and required several surgeries. Her therapist has determined that a service dog would be of inestimable help in her continued improvement, development, and personal safety in learning to navigate the world in ways we take for granted. Unfortunately, such specially and intensively trained service dogs are expensive; they are not covered under insurance, and companies that supply free ones have long waiting lists and are caught in catch-22 policies due to Jessica's age. A service dog to help Jessica with her needs costs $26,000.00. So we are going to get this little girl her dog with your help with a benefit featuring a BBQ Dinner, Live and Silent Auctions, Raffle, and Live Music. Providing items for the raffle and auctions are a great way to get exposure your company's product or service to an involved market while helping someone in need.
$10 Ticket Includes:
* Barbecue Plate Dinner *
(Slow-cooked to perfection by Della Carts Catereing)
* Live Music *
